The Role

A great career opportunity to join our employment law team advising a diverse range of clients on employment, industrial and WHS matters. You will be involved in a variety of work such as legal advice on employment law issues, dispute management strategies and negotiations, employment related litigation, document drafting, enterprise bargaining, investigations and training. You will also have the opportunity to work on work, health and safety matters including advising clients in this area.  You will be supported and mentored by experienced lawyers and have access to stimulating and challenging work. You will also have the opportunity to build client relationships and work closely with other practice groups on employment aspects of for example transactional, insolvency and restructuring work. Property Team

We are looking for a property Associate or Senior Associate to join our property law team (4+ years’ PQE). Competitive salary based on PQE.

This is an opportunity to become part of a growing property practice within a collaborative commercial law firm. Our property team is looking for a lawyer (4+ years’ PQE) with experience in commercial property transactions and property development to assist on ongoing and new projects.

About you

The successful candidate will have 4+ years’ PQE real estate experience and the following desired skills and experience from a well-regarded property practice:

 

  • Commercial property experience including:

o  commercial acquisitions and sales

o  commercial leasing

  • Experience in property development including drafting development agreements and other development documents

  • Off the plan sales and purchases

  • Put and call options and nomination agreements

  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to be team focused but also work individually

  • A commitment to providing excellent service and to build client relationships

  • A passion for helping clients achieve commercial success

  • A practical mindset

  • An intrinsic drive for technical excellence
