COVID-19 Commercial & Retail Leases: Out with the New and in with the Newer

On Friday 18 December 2020 the NSW Parliament announced that from 1 January 2021 the Retail and Other

Commercial Leases (COVID-19) Regulation (No 2) 2020 (Repealed Regulations) will be repealed and replaced with the Retail and Other Commercial Leases (COVID-19) Regulation (No 3) 2020 (Updated Regulations).


The below table sets out the main amendments introduced by the Updated Regulations comparative to the Repealed Regulations.
